1. Tems – Born In The Wild (Album)

The Studio Album Born in the Wild was released by popular Nigerian Female Singer Tems.

The said album was released on the 7th of June,2024 by RCA Records, and since ‘93, the production was handled by the singer Tems, GuiltyBeatz, Sarz, P2J, London, Spax, and DameDame.

Included in the album list are the singles “Me & u” and “Love Me Jeje”. The album Born In The Wild features popular artists J. Cole and Asake.

The songs in the album are comprised of relationships and also remembrances of Tems’ younger years and about making her way in the world.

To promote the album, the singer Tems will go on the Born In The Wild Tour.

The Album The Year I Turned 21 by the popular young Nigerian Female star(r), Arya star, which was released on the 1st of June, 2024 is infused with the Afrobeats, R&B, and Highlife Genre.

According to the singer Ayra Starr, The Year I Turned 21 is not just an album, just like the name it is about her becoming a full adult and also a reflection on the experiences and emotions that come with adulthood.

The hit album The Year I Turned 21 was produced by London, Laura, Redmolla, and Don Jazzy.

The album is a 15-track project that opened with the R&B pop track “Birds Sing of Money.

Arya Starr’s identity was surely deepened throughout the album.

The album collaborated with well-known featured artists such as Asake, Gibson, Coco Jones, Milar, Anitta, Rvssian, and Rauw Alejandro.

3. Tyla – TYLA Album

The South African singer Tyla released a debut studio album named TYLA which was released on the 22nd of March, 2024 by Epic and Fax Records.

According to the singer Tyla, she made it known that the record is an experimental album which is the combination of Amapiano beats, Pop, and R&B.

The album TYLA has collaborations that feature known artists like Kelvin Momo, Tems, Gunna, Skillbeing, Becky G, and Travis Scott.

Initially, the album TYLA was meant to be released on the 1st of March, 2024.

The album’s production alongside songwriting was overseen by the singer and usual collaborators Ari PenSmith, Mocha Bands, Believve, and Sammy SoSo whom she calls the Fantastic Four.

Four songs from the album were released as singles which are “Water”, “Truth or Dare”, “Jump”, and “Art”.

The album Shakespopi was released five months after the first album Presido La Pluto.

The album consists of 9 tracks and has collaborations with artists like Reeha, Jeneral, Zerry DL, and Tega Boi who are from his Record Label Plutomania

6. Tiwa Savage – Water & Garri Album

The Talented Nigerian Singer Tiwa Savage released an album titled Water and Garri on the 10th of May, 2024.

Water and Garri is not only an album but also a movie, in which the singer Tiwa Savage is the lead role and executive producer.

The album Water & Garri is a ten-tracked project that features collaborations with Afropop, R&B, and Hiphop artists.

Artists like Olamide and Arya who are Grammy-nominated artists, Nigerian singer ASA, Richard Bona, and gospel artist Zacardi Cortez.

Also, Black Sherif, Young Jonn, Mystro Sugar, and the Cavemen were among this musical adventure.

In addition to the movie, they both showed the singer Tiwa savage’s prowess to be multi-talented.

The singer Bella Shmurda released an album R2 Sept 12 on the 28th of April, 2024 in memory of his late friend Mohbad.

The album in respect of his late friend Mohbad stands for “Road to September 12”, the date holds a special meaning which marks the day his friend Mohbad passed away.

The tribute in the form of an album displays their friendship and how close the bond was, which was formed on the Lagos street pop.

The album is a 5 – 5-tracked project and among the tracks is the single “My Brother” which was dropped last year, less than a month after Mohbad’s death.

The album features the collaborations of known artists like Zlatan, Jeriq, and Bloody Civilian.
