Mercy Johnson, a Nollywood actress, has disclosed why she did not attend Rita Dominic’s wedding in Imo State on Tuesday.

Rita Dominic and her guy, Fidelis Anosike, had their traditional wedding on Tuesday, April 20, as previously reported by Six9ja, and the ceremony was highly attended by prominent Nollywood stars and extremely important persons.

Ini Edo, Joke Silva, Chidi Mokeme, Queen Nwokoye, Hilda Dokubo, Okey Bakassi, Julius Agwu, Uche Jombo, Shan George, Lilian Bach, Idia Aisien, and Uche Elendu were among the celebrities who attended the occasion.

Mercy Johnson, Genevieve Nnaji, Funke Akindele, and a slew of other actresses were noticeably absent, prompting outrage on social media.

Uche Maduagwu, a controversial actor, also took a go at his conspicuously absent colleagues.

Mercy Johnson, on the other hand, revealed to a fan why she was unable to attend the event that she was unable to go due to a filming commitment.
