Disqualified Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Erica has said that her disqualification from the show taught her to make use of her head more than her feelings.
Erica was disqualified from the Big Brother ‘Lockdown’ edition after she flouted the core rules of the house.
The Abia-born actress also threatened to kill a housemate, Laycon, outside the reality TV show.
She was also found guilty of pouring water on the head of the house bed in order to prevent her deputy, Prince, from getting access, which contributed to her automatic disqualification from the show.
However, speaking during a Sunday interview with Veteran journalist and Ovation magazine publisher, Dele Momodu, Erica said she benefited a lot from the unpleasant experiences she had in the house.
According to her, being disqualified from the show taught her not to be too trusting because she discovered that those she had their backs in the house didn’t feel the same way about her.
“I also learnt not to be too emotional but to rather use my head more than my heart.
“The experience also taught me how to be more comfortable with myself and not to look for happiness in others.
“I am also working on myself too; I think that there’s an improvement because I feel that accepting that there’s a fault to work on is actually a big step to being better.
“I know I let my emotions get the better part of me and am also working on that too.
“But then, I am happy for all these experiences; am happy that the show was able to teach me all of these. I am very grateful for all that,” she said.
