Wizkid, an award-winning Afrobeat artist and song producer, has responded to her former boss, Banky W, who claimed Wizkid owed EME three albums before leaving the label.
In 2009, Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment signed the Starboy boss to a record deal. After his contract with E.M.E expired, Wizkid left In the year 2016.
The actor admitted that they had agreed on a five-album deal, but Wizkid was only able to complete two of them, leaving him with only three albums to complete his pact.
The politician also said that he had no choice but to release Wizkid from his record label since he didn’t want a fight with the musician.
During a #BlackBoxInterview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the record producer revealed this during a discussion about Wizkid and his contract predicament while with Empire Mates Entertainment.
Wizkid responded by retweeting the video in which Banky was caught accusing Wizkid of an unsettled contract dispute and captioning the post with “LOL.”
