Police in South Carolina says DMX doppelgänger is wanted

DMX impersonator is allegedly wanted by South Carolina police for the attempted assassination. Following a police sketch of the suspect published last month by the Columbia Police Department, individuals were fast to point out the similarities.

Thom Berry, the spokesman for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, stated the witness said, “The man looks like DMX a lot.”

On June 19, at an apartment complex, policemen discovered a 27-year-old person shot in the reduced body. Witnesses reported hearing the victim and another unknown male arguing moments before shots sounded out.

Police released the sketch on June 24, saying the drawing was done “with the help of a criminal witness” who insisted that the suspect looked like the rapper nominated for the Grammy Award. However, Deputy Chief Melron Kelly of the Columbia Police Department has made sure that DMX is not a suspect in the situation.

“I guarantee you he’s not,” Kelly said.

The witness speaks with the artist to finish a sketch so that he or she can get an impression of the general characteristics and look. The artist began with DMX’s picture in this situation and went from there.

”We always let the witness dictate the process and how everything unfolds,” Berry said. “We make sure the witness sees everything we do and is comfortable with whatever rendering that we make.”

After serving for about a year for tax evasion, X has lately been released from prison and probably has no intention to return. He’s concentrated for now on his upcoming role in a Serial Killer’s film Chronicle.
